International panel to review top applications for 2024 Artist Grants
July 15, 2024 - NEW YORK, NY. The Liu Shiming Art Foundation is proud to announce the
members of its selection panel for the 2024 Liu Shiming Artist Grants, which will support the
work of five early career visual artists with $5,000 grants.
Led by Fran Kaufman, Curatorial Director of the Liu Shiming Art Foundation, the panelists
represent a cross-section of the art world, including Peter Wayne Lewis, a painter whose recent and upcoming exhibitions span the globe from New York to Beijing to Accra; Dr. Lindsey Schneider, Executive Director of IFAR (International Foundation for Art Research); Yohanna M. Roa, a transcultural artist, art historian and art critic whose projects have been featured in art institutions from Madrid to Cali to Mexico City; and Cindy Qi, a specialist in Chinese Art at Sotheby’s in New York.
